A bee on a lavender flower

Welcome To Shire House Farm

The Shire House Farm idea started a few years ago and, like many ideas, has grown and adapted with time. We initially thought to grow lavender in a space that would be a lovely place to spend time with family and friends. As time progressed, so did our ideas. We’ve since taken to growing all sorts of plants, as you’ll see on this website.

We plan to make oil from Lavender, Rosemary, Geranium and Eucalypts. We also plan to have a variety of product based on dried flowers and buds and seasonally we’ll have fresh bunches available. Currently we have pot plants available for purchase.

We also have some hives on the farm and can’t wait to try the honey! On a side note to that, we propagate our plants using honey rather than rooting hormones. All part of our organic practise as we aim to maintain our own little eco system.

We have embarked on a wonderful family venture, and hope to be able to share it with you.
